Deathstyle offers a different perspective on the topic of death but more importantly, puts it in a more positive light; changing social stigma and alleviating the associated fear. 

This design solution was derived from the need to gradually eliminate the negative social stigmas associated with the concept of death. The solution was geared towards a more positive perspective, lightening up the tension surrounding the topic. 
The brand initiative was sponsored by Indigo Books Inc. and featured a book series addressing four perspectives on the topic of death. This series was then advertised through a series of posters highlighting the title of each book issue.
As most typical brand applications are produced to ultimately accumulate monetary profit, deathstyle’s brand focusses more on instilling a lifestyle; a way of thinking.

Each poster possesses a QR code which gives additional information about the brand and it’s initiative. 

Once scanned the reader would be able to access the initiative web blog, being able to access further information about the brand itself and upcoming events.
Book Series

The series sponsored by Indigo Books Inc. takes on valid perspectives on the topic of death, not just for the sole purpose of emphasizing the positives but also highlighting the rationale and fears behind death.

The book series comes as a book set of four (4) booklets corresponding to each defining topic. The book sets can be purchased at any Indigo Books outlets and as an initial promotion they were distributed as complimentary products with every book/product purchase.
